INNOVATIVE STRENGTH AS A LINK.

How it all began
With the founding of the valve manufacturer Hawle Deutschland Armaturen GmbH in Freilassing, Upper Bavaria, Heinz Engelbert Hawle and Hans Fach laid the foundation for today's HADIRO Group in 1967. The pioneering spirit that inspired the two founders in the development of high-quality components for municipal gas and water supply and wastewater disposal is still evident in the group of companies today. A consistent focus on innovation, strong partnerships and a keen understanding of the market have contributed significantly to the HAIDRO Group's successful development over decades and to the sustainable consolidation of its position, including in the premium segment.

Expanding value creation
In 1995, Hawle Deutschland Armaturen GmbH acquired the Duktil Guss Fürstenwalde foundry.  This not only enabled the company to increase its own value creation through in-house casting, but also to speed up delivery times. In line with the motto ‘We offer solutions for every requirement’, the range of standard products was continuously expanded. Today, Hawle Armaturen customers can choose from a catalogue of over 5,000 standard items, plus a wide range of customised solutions tailored to specific customer requirements. In 2025, the foundry was renamed Fürstenwalder Guss and supplies high-quality raw material components to Hawle Armaturen GmbH and the internationally active HAIDRO GmbH.

The next step – innovation based on experience
In the heart of Switzerland, a country known worldwide for precision, reliability, and technical excellence, Heinz Egelbert Hawle founded Hawle Suisse in 1969, now known as Hawle Schweiz Armaturen AG. Initially, the company focused on a clearly defined product range: reliable heavy-duty valves for drinking water and wastewater applications. With growing experience, new market requirements, and an ever-deepening understanding of customer needs, Hawle consistently developed its expertise. This further development led to the creation of Hawido AG with its own product line of self-operated control valves. The introduction of self-operated control valves created a new product line that would have a lasting impact on the manufacturing site in Switzerland. Hawido AG has been developing and producing these control valves for more than 35 years, and they are now sold throughout Europe. Today, Hawle Schweiz Armaturen AG and its subsidiary Hawido offer a wide range of control valves for a variety of applications.

Looking for solutions
Throughout his life, company founder Heinz Engelbert Hawle viewed problems as challenges. His health limitations led to the founding of Hawle Treppenlifte in 2004. Since then, lifts have been designed and constructed at the Ruppichteroth (North Rhine-Westphalia) site and specially adapted to the conditions and individual wishes of customers on site.

Innovation meets expansion
The North American market has always placed special demands on modern infrastructure and reliable supply systems. To meet these requirements, H-Tec Inc. was founded in the USA in 2007 with the clear goal of supplying the market with high-quality air supply and exhaust valves. Initially, the focus was on reliable delivery and technical support for customers throughout North America. However, with growing demand and increasing market presence, the company quickly evolved: it went from being a pure supplier to also becoming a manufacturer. Finally, H-Tec began manufacturing air supply and exhaust valves directly in the USA, thereby not only strengthening supply security but also producing closer to the needs of the North American market. True to the motto: “Made in the USA from US stainless steel.”  Thus, a clear vision gave rise to an important partner for reliable valve technology in the United States and Canada.

Expansion of the product range
Hawle Kunststoff GmbH was founded in Wiehl in 2015 to supply customers with turnkey valve shafts, fire water tanks and other plastic shaft structures. Following the subsequent merger with Hawle Service GmbH, which was founded the following year, the company's own quality standards could now be extended to all service and maintenance work in the heavy valve segment.

Expansion of the product portfolio for large valves
With the acquisition of MIV d.d. Varaždin in Croatia in 2018, the HAIDRO Group was also able to expand its own range of products to include large valves for plant engineering and further strengthen its international market position. MIV's product portfolio covers valves in the DN 50 to DN 3000 size range and offers up to 6,000 basic products. In addition to the standard product portfolio, numerous special solutions and larger dimensions for valves have already been implemented for customers all over the world. Up to 15,000 additional individual specifications can be made for the basic products. The large dimensions of the valves enable the implementation of large construction projects such as dams, large hydroelectric power plants, industrial plants, etc.

Expansion into further international markets
Since 2025, HAIDRO GmbH has been synonymous with the strategic expansion of international sales. Working in close partnership with customers around the globe, we develop solutions that are precisely tailored to the requirements of international markets. These developments now form the foundation of our own international product range. The HAIDRO Group is already represented with its brands in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, improving water and wastewater systems with proven technology. Our promise: Connections to rely on.
